Adam is local to Mersea and, as many will know, has served the Peldon Rose exceptionally well since first joining some 8 years ago. The promotion is well deserved and we look forward to both the Christmas season and 2013.
The kitchen team have also gained Matt Shepherd, an experienced and very capable Head Chef, to run our food operation together with Alistair Hymns, a talented and creative pastry chef, plus a regenerated support team. Our food offering has undoubtedly risen to a new level and it is rewarding to achieve so many recent accolades.
We have enjoyed great success over recent months and Adam Pepper has arrived, from a period in the US, to assist as Front of House manager, together with some locally appointed new faces in the restaurant.
Our aim is to become a top destination Country Inn and we now feel we have the team in place to take us there, together with our valued local customer support. Christmas season bookings are exceeding all expectations – please reserve your table as soon as possible.
