Choosing from our ever changing menu, you could follow pork and game terrine with red onion marmalade or mediterranean prawns and cajun butter with, say, grilled fillet of local sea bass with saffron butter sauce, or steak and mushroom casserole with a puff pastry lid, new potatoes and seasonal vegetables. A good selection of vegetarian meals are always available.

A good choice of light meals and ploughman’s lunches are also available and are rounded off perfectly with one of our homemade puddings such as baked chocolate brownie cheesecake with vanilla anglaise or steamed sponge pudding with a summer berry compote and custard.

Traditional roasts are available on Sunday’s with our roast sirloin of beef and red wine gravy, yorkshire pudding and seasonal vegetables a regular feature. Early booking is advisable to avoid disappointment. For either lunch or dinner, the conservatory (non smoking) is a stylish and atmospheric destination.
